Cupping Therapy
60 min - $90

Cupping is an ancient Chinese therapy in which cups are applied to the skin and the pressure in the cup is reduced (by suction) in order to draw and hold skin and superficial muscles inside the cup.

In some cases, while the suction is active, the cup is moved causing regional pulling of the skin and muscle. This is called gliding cupping.

The suction and negative pressure provided by the cups aids in muscle relaxation; encourages blood circulation to stagnant muscles; helps activate the lymphatic system; loosen adhesions, connective tissues and stubborn knots in soft tissue and is good for muscle repair.

Cupping is performed as a complimentary technique

during a Remedial massage
